About the job

Abridge is seeking Engineers to join a new, high-priority agentic engineering team focused on building the foundational infrastructure and internal systems that power software development at the company. This role operates at the intersection of AI tooling, CI/CD, and developer experience, tackling complex problems related to CI/CD pipelines, MCP servers, and AI agents. The work will directly influence how engineers build and deploy software across Abridge, shaping the future of developer productivity and operational efficiency within a rapidly evolving landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve developer infrastructure, including CI/CD systems, build tooling, and developer platforms to enhance engineering velocity and reliability.
  • Design and implement agentic workflows, MCP servers, autonomous agents, and AI-assisted tooling to integrate AI into the development lifecycle.
  • Own and improve the end-to-end developer journey, from local development and testing to deployment and observability, by identifying and removing friction.
  • Drive technical excellence through strong systems thinking in architecture and tooling decisions that enhance developer ergonomics, feedback loops, and development velocity.
  • Evaluate and adopt AI-powered development tools to deliver measurable productivity gains across the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • Strong experience building and evolving CI/CD systems and build tooling (e.g., Bazel, Buck, GitHub Actions, Buildkite, CircleCI).
  • Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks, MCP servers, LLM tooling, or AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Experience improving developer experience across local development, CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, and developer workflows.
  • Familiarity with production systems in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar).
  • Experience with containerized environments, Kubernetes, and modern infrastructure tooling (e.g., ArgoCD, Istio, Atmos).
  • Strong track record of leveraging AI tools and workflows to materially improve engineering velocity and operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Genuine passion for Abridge's mission to improve healthcare.

Benefits

  • 14 paid holidays
  • Flexible PTO for salaried employees
  • Accrued time off for hourly employees
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for all full-time employees
