About the job

Abridge is seeking a Product Lead to own the end-to-end strategy, development, and adoption of their Clinical Decision Support (CDS) product. This chat-based assistant aims to help clinicians before, during, and after patient visits by drawing on patient charts, medical literature, and conversations to provide evidence-based guidance. The role involves taking CDS from early access to broad adoption across various platforms, ensuring the guidance is useful, safe, and trustworthy without causing alert fatigue. You will collaborate closely with clinical science, ML, engineering, design, and commercial teams to define the product vision, roadmap, content strategy, and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own CDS strategy and roadmap, defining vision, sequencing, and success metrics.
  • Define the content and evidence strategy, partnering with Clinical Science on quality and validity.
  • Conduct hands-on user research to understand clinician friction and translate insights into product strategy.
  • Ship high-quality, in-workflow experiences in partnership with engineering, design, and ML.
  • Integrate CDS deeply with EHR environments like Epic to ensure seamless workflow integration.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for adoption, engagement, and clinical quality/safety.
  • Drive outcomes using data to evaluate product performance and foster a culture of iteration.
  • Navigate ambiguity, create structure, and move quickly by forming and testing hypotheses.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with significant ownership of complex, high-stakes, or AI products.
  • Proven track record of shipping 0 to 1 products and driving them to adoption and revenue.
  • Strong product taste and user empathy, with an understanding of clinician trust and actionability.
  • Comfort working with clinical, scientific, or evidence-based content, with a high bar for accuracy.
  • Strong technical fluency to engage with engineering and ML on tradeoffs.
  • Ability to make and defend build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
  • Clear communication skills to explain complex tradeoffs and align stakeholders.
  • Experience with clinical, healthcare, or medical informatics is a plus.
  • Experience building agentic or assistant-style products is a plus.
  • Experience with medical content, knowledge bases, or evidence retrieval systems (e.g., RAG) is a plus.
  • Experience in regulated environments with a high compliance bar is a plus.
